The Last of Logan – Part grief memoir, part love-letter to video games, The Last of Logan is an experimental novel about a 14-year-old boy coming to terms with the death of his older brother.

The Umpire – Set over five days of a real cricket Test match in 2005, The Umpire is told from the point-of-view of one of the umpires and is told almost in real time, as Thomas is forced to face up to his life as a father and husband, and the mistakes that have been made.

The Professional – Bethany Stewart is the best female professional golfer in the world and is lined up to take on the men’s No 1 in a lucrative head-to-head showdown. That is, until she fires her dad as her caddy midway through a round in Munich, unleashing a torrent of public abuse. When her mum then dies of an illness she has kept hidden from her family, a grieving Beth must try to put her family back together while navigating the public shaming.

Current Work in Progress:

Skalugsuak – Skalugsuak is a sea-of-consciousness novel that tracks 400 years of Northern European history through the eyes of a Greenland shark. The novel is a mosaic of interconnected flash fiction and short stories, with recurring characters and themes to which the shark bears witness through all the blood, sweat and tears that run from the streets and fields to the rivers and ocean.
